Happy New Year Everyone!!! It has been a very long time since I blogged! I check my Dashboard everyday, sometimes twice a day though, so I still keep up with all of you =]

It wasnt a great day as far as sales go......it was a yard/craft sale & there was only 1 other crafter there. But we did get invited to 2 other shows, so that was a plus =] We also had to leave ealy because the wind was TERRIBLE! We werent the only ones tho, lots had to pack up & go due to the wind.

Our next 1 is in 2 weeks, so I'll be working on ALL Americana from now till then, & bears & other critters =]

These 1st 2 dolls are made from Maureen's Round About Pattern, I LOVE her patterns, such talent !

Keeping this 1 with the Rooster dress, she started as a mistake ( her face ) but then, I fixed her & fell in love with her =]

This sweet lil lady bug dress 1, I love too but, I am putting her on eBay.

This lil lady is another 1 of the 12" rounded head dolls I drafted up. I might put her on eBay as well!

After a few trials & errors, I finally got these dolls just right & proportioned correctly. I'm willing to bet I drew & tried @ least 3 diff arms & head pieces till they got right! They aren't quite finished but I wanted to share a sneak peak =]

These are 12" dolls & have rounded heads. I think they turned out great! I'll definately be doing a pattern for these =]

I just got off the phone with the people fixing our pc. They can get NO DATA off our old hard drive! WHAT!!!!!! Everything for Boltz Raggedies, all our pics, personal & biz, patterns, tags, files, EVERYTHING......GONE! =[

So now, I must start from scratch. Good Lord! The biz I can handle, it'll be time consuming, but, I can manage. Our pics, that has me sick, we lost all of our cherished photos, lots that I didn't copy to disc yet.

Lesson learned, ALWAYS copy & back up your important things, cuz you never know when you could lose them. Please bare with me while I rebuild things. Bolz Raggedies will be back on its feet asap, count on that! ;]

I have just gotten bk online yesterday. Our pc took a crash on us. I'm now waiting on the things on my hard drive to be copied & put on an external drive for us. Once we get that, I can have the patterns up as promised!

It seems that during the past couple months, LIFE has taking priority over our business goals. Things "seem" to be calmed down now & I can finally refocus my goals on the business =]

My 2 New Year's resolutions are......1. Set attainable goals....write the list & check them off 1x1

2. Devote @ LEAST 5 hrs / day to our business.

I have been drafting new patterns & have a few new dolls & critters lined up to make. So many ideas flowing my sketch book is getting pretty full!

With that said, I hope everyone has a VERY happy, healthy & prosperous 2010! Here's to having goals & reaching them!!

1st up, my Santa's for the show next Sat....there's 4 of these. He's quite large, I just love him!!

This is a set of bears I did for my Mom's neighbor. I hope she likes them :) It's my way of saying Thanks for being good to my Mom :D

I haven't had the chance to post in awhile, been very busy.....fall clean up & preparing for another show! I thought I'd quick share our kids with you all before I get back to work :)

This is our gorgous 3 yr old German Shepherd Madelynn & our 2 yr old Basset Gracie :) These 2 are inseperable & until the addition of Benny, they were the gruesome twosome LOL Now Ben helps get into trouble, so they are now the 3 amigos ;)

Grace again, with my baby Hannah. She will be 12 in Feb! She acts like a puppy though :D

LOL I can't do sewn laces for some odd reason. Sooo, I improvised & glued them on instead, I think they got pretty neat though!!

This guy is AWESOME, but, he took me about 8 hrs total!! I love him though :) He's not complete yet, he gets a couple crows on him & 1 on the pumkin as soon as they're done ;)

Here's another dollie I finished today :)

This started as an idea for a 16" Scarecrow. I messed up the eyes, & they got larger than I wanted, BUT, I think that adds to her character :)

This is Panda. She's the girl in the litter. She's such & sweet loving lil soul :)

This is Freddy, he's my boy :D He's ALWAYS waking me up, kneading my face & kissing me, he's a lil ham!

This is his brother Tiger. He WAS our shy boy, now he's just as sweet & loving as his bother & sister :)

Haven't been posting lately, I'm knee deep in stain & paint!!! BY tomm, I'll be ready to dress, add hair & do faces of my dolls, all 200 + :D I'll be back with pics of some of my new nodders possibly today? Hope everyone's staying cool in this immense heat *hug*

Since my last post, I've almost sewn through another 25 yds of muslin.....1 more bolt yet I need to trace, cut & sew. My show's Aug 29th, we're getting down to the wire now!! I'm feeling pretty confident though :)

I wanted to share pics of the lil feral kittens I brought in on July 17th. They have come so far, I'm so proud of them!! They went from attacking you to only wantin love :) In the process they stole my heart & I couldn't imagine parting with them! Their Daddy loves them too, but he's having his allergies acting up with them, until they get bigger....kitten dander is bad for ppl with allergies :( Without further ado, here they are....

Tiger is the tan & black striped, Panda looks like the lil panda bear & Freddie is the grey & white one!

I pulled an all niter the last 2 nites & apparently exhausted myself!! I slept almost 12 hrs!!!!! So now, I must get my coffee, my shower & get busy on my dolls :) Check back for progress pics....

I'm accomplishing a lot in just a few short days with the staining & painting process :) I'm getting VERY excited as I proceed seeing my items all coming to life is by far the BEST part of the whole process!!

I haven't had a chance to post the last few days. I've been very busy sewing, cleaning, & running errands. I've also been tracing patterns for the upcoming stash game @ Sewing Mamas.

Some things are my Spring/Summer wardrobe, some for the craft show in Aug. (it's a HUGE show) & some for our new nephew due in June. I will be posting pics very shortly on some of my wardrobe, & maybe some of my dolls & critters.....see you soon :)

I decided to share pics of my sewing space. It's by no means big enough, but, for now, it'll do. I intend to paint my room eventually & do a sewing machine border :) EVENTUALLY!!
